Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Taskido ("we", "us") handles your information when you use the Taskido app and website. In short: Taskido works entirely on your device, we don't run accounts or servers for your data, and we use no ads, analytics or tracking.

What we store, and where

Your tasks, transactions, settings and any receipt images are stored locally on your device, in the app's on-device storage. We do not require an account, and this data is not uploaded to us or to any server — we cannot see it.

Camera and photos

If you scan a receipt, the photo is saved on your device and the amount is read on your device — the text recognition runs locally inside the app. Receipt images are never uploaded to us or any third party.

Microphone and voice

If you add a task or expense by voice, your speech is converted to text so the app can create the item. On the mobile apps this uses your device's built-in speech recognition; on the web it uses your browser's speech recognition. Taskido does not record, store or transmit your audio. Your device's or browser's own speech-recognition service may process the audio to convert it to text, under that provider's privacy terms.

Payments and subscriptions

If you subscribe to Taskido Premium, the purchase is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their terms. We do not receive or store your payment card details. The store tells the app whether your subscription is active so that Premium features can be unlocked.

No ads, analytics or tracking

Taskido contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking or profiling SDKs. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share your data.

Saved links

When you save a link inside a note, the app fetches that link's title so it can be shown with a readable name — from YouTube for YouTube links, and for other sites through Taskido's own link-title service (hosted on our infrastructure, not a third party). Only the link you saved is sent, and only for that purpose — nothing else about you is shared.

Security

Because your data lives on your device, its safety is tied to your device. We recommend using your device lock and, optionally, the app's built-in App Lock. Any backup file you create with Import & export is under your control.

Your choices and rights

You can export or delete all of your data at any time from the app's Import & export screen. Uninstalling the app removes its local data from your device.

Children

Taskido is a general-audience productivity app. It is not directed to children under the age required by your local law, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
